Parks & Recreation in RayThe Park District oversees all facets of the Ray City Parks. Their staff works diligently to maintain the parks and recreation areas.

The Ray Recreation Council and Ray Golf Association work within the spectrum of the Park District. 

Ray Recreation Council is a group of volunteers who make sure our youth have softball, baseball, and swimming lessons.

The Ray Golf Association operates and oversees the Ray Community Golf Course for the Ray Park District. It is a beautiful municipal course.

Ray Recreation Council Board Members

The Ray Recreation program offers summer baseball and softball for children entering kindergarten through high school.  The council also transports our kids to Tioga for swimming lessons each summer and for some open swimming days as well. The Recreation Council is funded through a small mill levy, but relies mostly on fund raising activities such as pancake breakfasts and a men’s amateur basketball tournament held Easter weekend, and a lot of volunteer work from parents.
